Stage 2 · Footage review
AI plans the shots, your Mac captures the web pages and public video clips, and you review every item before it's used.
The steps
2a
Capture plan
Where:Browser or Mac appWhat AI doesPlans the visuals from the fact ledger: which part of which web page, which seconds of which public video. The plan is made in the browser; capturing runs on your Mac.
What you doCheck the plan: cut what you don't want, add what's missing.
2b
Footage review · gate
Where:Mac app onlyWhat AI doesLays out the captured screenshots and clips against the plan, each labeled with its source.
What you doReview each item in the Mac app and pass it, or send it back with a note on why.
Gates
This stage has one gate: Footage review. Only you can approve a gate, and the next step waits until you do.
Tips
- You can edit the capture plan in the browser; capturing itself starts in the Mac app.
- Clips from YouTube or Bilibili need your platform login. Sign in through the app’s separate browser profiles under Settings › Connections › Platform logins in the Mac app. Sign-in details stay in private files on your Mac, protected by your local user permissions, without using the system keychain or being uploaded to our servers.
- When you send footage back, add a line on why, so the next plan avoids it.
