How to get your Bocha Search API key

In Montagist, your Bocha Search key is used for AI web research (topic and fact ledger).

Where to get it

Open the Bocha Search key pageopen.bochaai.com/dashboard

Before you start

  • New accounts can claim a free usage pack after signing up.

Create the key

  1. Sign in to the Bocha open platform console (open.bochaai.com).
  2. Create a key in the key management section.
  3. Copy the key and paste it under Settings › Connections › Web search in Montagist.

Connect it to Montagist

  1. In Montagist, open Settings › Connections › Web search and find the Bocha Search card.
  2. Paste the key.
  3. Click Test connection: it runs in the cloud and shows the result and timing, with a plain explanation if it fails.
