How to get your ElevenLabs API key

In Montagist, your ElevenLabs key is used for recording the full voice-over (the voice approval step), called from your Mac.

Where to get it

Open the ElevenLabs key pageelevenlabs.io/app/settings/api-keys

Create the key

  1. Sign in to ElevenLabs and open Settings › API keys.
  2. Create a key; you can limit which features and how many credits it may use.
  3. Copy the key and paste it under Settings › Connections › Voice in Montagist.

Connect it to Montagist

  1. In Montagist, open Settings › Connections › Voice and find the ElevenLabs card.
  2. Paste the key; Montagist recognizes the provider from how the key starts.
  3. Click Test connection: voice is tested on your Mac, because what matters is whether this computer can reach the service.
