How to get your Tavily API key

Where to get it

Before you start

• There are 1,000 free credits a month and no card is required.

Create the key

1. Sign in to the Tavily dashboard (app.tavily.com).
2. Copy the key that starts with tvly- from the overview page.
3. Paste it under Settings › Connections › Web search in Montagist.

Connect it to Montagist

1. In Montagist, open Settings › Connections › Web search and find the Tavily card.
2. Paste the key; Montagist recognizes the provider from how the key starts.
3. Click Test connection: it runs in the cloud and shows the result and timing, with a plain explanation if it fails.
