How to get your MiniMax Speech API key

In Montagist, your MiniMax Speech key is used for recording the full voice-over (the voice approval step), called from your Mac.

Which key to use

  • A pay-as-you-go MiniMax key works for both models and speech — no need to create another one.

If you haven't connected MiniMax yet, start with how to get your MiniMax API key.

Connect it to Montagist

  1. In Montagist, open Settings › Connections › Voice and find the MiniMax Speech card.
  2. Paste the key.
  3. Choose the mainland China or international endpoint — whichever matches the site where you created the key.
  4. Click Test connection: voice is tested on your Mac, because what matters is whether this computer can reach the service.
